10 Pearl Street, Dedham Center
Town Center Initiative III
Oxbow Partners, Developer
Dedham Center is undergoing a renaissance most visibly evident by the vibrancy of the local merchants and the streetscape improvements completed in the Summer of 2013. Immediately adjacent to the Norfolk County Court House, 10 Pearl Street had functioned as an attorney’s office for the past 30 years. Formerly the Margaret Guild House, 10 Pearl Street is also an important historical asset and part of the Franklin Square Historic District.
Oxbow saw the opportunity to return 10 Pearl Street to its residential past. With Town support, Oxbow received the necessary Special Permit to convert 10 Pearl Street into a multi-unit residential building. Utilizing both state and federal historic tax credits, 10 Pearl Street offers the unique amenity of living in a fully rehabilitated historic structure within a 5 minute walk of Dedham Center’s restaurants, cafe’s and community theater. Completed November 2013.
