After the procurement of land and the recording of a permanent conservation restriction on the most sensitive areas of the parcel, the Harvard Conservation Trust was interested in understanding the potential to develop mixed-income senior housing to create a needed town resource as well as to realize the value of the unrestricted land. Analysis included opportunities and challenges presented by the market, financing sources, regulatory constraints and the realities of site development.
